Sam & Mio Mootoo
Sam and Mio developed their passion for real estate after building their first house on St. Croix. They share two amazing kids together, Tien and Tiana, who they love unconditionally. Together they love exploring the island and spending time over the weekends on one of the many beautiful beaches.
Sam, born and raised on St. Croix, pursued
Sam and Mio developed their passion for real estate after building their first house on St. Croix. They share two amazing kids together, Tien and Tiana, who they love unconditionally. Together they love exploring the island and spending time over the weekends on one of the many beautiful beaches.
Sam, born and raised on St. Croix, pursued his degree at North Carolina State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. He returned to the island in 2008 and joined the manufacturing industry. Over the years he has led an award-winning team of 20+ employees, fostering great relationships with his team members, while being mentored by highly successful leaders across the industry. Throughout his career he went on to obtain a Project Management Graduate Certificate from Boston University and worked on many projects worth upwards of $20 million. In his spare time, he enjoys photography and golfing.
Mio, moved to St. Croix in 1997 from La Romana, Dominican Republic, and has since developed an undying love for the island. She graduated from the University of the Virgin Islands with her Bachelor of Arts in Management and has spent many years working in the Quality Assurance field. She is fluent in both Spanish and English, loves dedicating her spare time to philanthropic work, and enjoys meeting and interacting with new people every chance she gets.
